Works in Progress : Campside Shawl and Rainbow Socks

Lately, I didn’t get to knit as much as I wished but I am definitely not complaining since I got to spend some nice time with my family, enjoying late evenings, going out, watching movies or just chilling together.

What’s on my needles? Still the Campside Shawl by Alicia Plummer (free on Ravelry). It is going slowly but surely and I am now about to start the last lace portion. At this stage, it takes me about 10 minutes to knit 1 row. According to my calculations, it will take me about 8 more hours to have this shawl off the needles. So hopefully, if I am being realistic, it should be finished in 2 weeks! …or maybe 3 …We’ll see 🙂

I have a new project on the needles : another pair of socks! For my daughters this time. I used the same yarn as in my Mini Rainbow Sweater. I really like the way this yarn is knitting up with the multi coloured speckles. They will be classic stockinette socks with a 1/1 ribbing on the cuff. To add extra fun, I will make a contrasted heel with a left over of Bergère de France Turquoise yarn. Joyful socks for joyful kids!
